Rather than become disillusioned, here’s an easy step-by-step guide on how to get involved with politics so that you—yes, you—can make a difference. According to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), as of January 27, 2020, a total of 39 states plus the District of Columbia offer online registration, and one other state (Oklahoma) has passed legislation and is currently phasing implementation of its online registration (you can see this table for details).
